Hi, I'm Chantal

I’m the founder of Crossfield VA and I work with ambitious small business owners who recognise the key to being successful is not doing it all.

 

Running a small business is all consuming; you get bogged down in the day-to-day juggle and end up feeling like you’ve lost sight of what motivated you to start your business in the first place.

  • Why & When
    Back in 2019 I decided to take a leap of faith and leave my job of 13-years to try something new. I was getting itchy feet and wanted a new challenge. I also had a young family to think about, so needed something that would bring flexibility. I decided not to reinvent the wheel and use the skills and experience I’d built up over 20-years to set up as a Virtual Assistant. I’ve always loved all things organisation and working closely with people on a 1:1 basis; being able to support them in their ambitious endeavours has always brought me huge satisfaction. I love connecting with people, building relationships and have been lucky to work across a range of sectors with a variety of people over my career.

    Hi, I’m Chantal!     I bring order to chaos. I’m your second brain. I’m your sounding post. I’m flexible, agile and creative. And most importantly I’m your #1 cheerleader. I believe good working relationships are built on trust, communication and a sense of humour. I strive to ensure all my clients feel like they are my number one priority and that they can rely on me to get the job done to a high standard and on time.
  • What makes me different?
    I know what it’s like to run a small business and juggle all the different elements to keep ticking over. I’ve worked for years supporting Board level Directors so understand the demands on time and the need to be efficient and work smarter.   • Where
    I’m based in North London where I live with my husband, 2 daughters and 2 cats. The beauty of being ‘virtual’ means I can work with anyone across the globe. I dream of having my own office space in the loft one day, but for now I work from a corner of my spare room, usually with a cat lounging on the desk next to me.
  • What about security?
    Ensuring client confidentiality is extremely important to me. I am registered with the ICO, fully insured and treat your business as if it was my own.
  • Do you work with anyone else?
    I work with a trusted Associate VA who has over 15-years PA and Admin experience who I bring in to help when needed. This means I can offer my clients an ongoing and continuous service if required (we all need a holiday sometimes!).
